I am a full-time professional Realtor and proudly associated with Town & Country Realty in Albany, Oregon.
In January of 2005, I moved back to Oregon from Marin County, California, where I started my real estate career in 1995 and was a consistent multi-million dollar producer representing both buyers and sellers in Marin and Sonoma counties in their purchase or sale of residential and commercial property.
Since returning to Oregon and joining Town & Country Realty in 2005, I have represented a wide range of clients. Familiar with the fast pace of California real estate, increasing property appreciation and multiple-offer situations, I have a unique background from which to work for you here in Oregon. Whether it’s representing the City of Albany in the $3 million purchase of their new library, or first-time home-owners selling a $100,000 fixer; I love what I do and can’t imagine doing anything else.
I believe that the more information my clients have, the better the decision they can make. You need to understand the process, you need to know their options, and you need to be kept updated. If you don’t know what is going on, you aren’t having fun and I haven’t done my job.
I believe it’s important to be involved in and contribute to our community. I am a member of the Greater Albany Rotary Club, a member of the Crab Fest Committee and Chair of the Craft Brew Smackdown held in September which benefits Rotary and the Carousel Project. I am a member of the Albany Downtown Association, and on the Promotions Committee. I am also currently serving as President of SafeHaven Humane Society. My latest project is Library Uncorked, a February fundraiser for the Friends of the Library in Albany.
I am a member of the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce and a volunteer for the Linn County Sheriff’s Office. Recent awards are: Linn County Sheriff’s Office Volunteer of the Year – 2007, Oregon Emergency Management Partner of the Year – 2008, Albany Area Chamber of Commerce Jim Linhart Citizen of the Year – 2012, and a two-year Five Star Professional award-winner and featured in the April 2014 and April 2015 Portland Monthly Magazine.
One of my hobbies is gardening with a focus on native plants that provide food and shelter for wild birds. I have traveled extensively, including Europe, Mexico, China and Kathmandu. I also rescue caged birds and currently live with my “flock” in downtown Albany.
